If you ever visit the Sydney Opera House, there are many things you can enjoy: you can take photos of its amazing architecture, relax at one of its restaurants, or even join an organised tour to explore the theatres, studios, exhibition rooms, the concert hall and the cinema inside the building. The Sydney Opera House Guided Walking Tour is a great option because it teaches you all about the history of this iconic place, and with one ticket you can join any tour throughout the day until 5 pm. Getting to the Opera House is very easy because it is located only a short walk from Circular Quay , where you can catch buses, trains and ferries. This makes it one of the most accessible attractions in the city. If my family went on the official guided tour, they would have to pay around A$47 per adult , although prices may vary depending on the platform you book from. The Sydney Opera House was designed by the Danish architect Jørn Utzon , who became internationally famous after winning t...

Recommended Shop: T2 Tea (Queen Victoria Building) After exploring the different shops inside the Queen Victoria Building, the store I would recommend is T2 Tea . According to the QVB store directory, T2 Tea is located in the Lower Ground level and is one of the most unique shopping experiences in the building. Why I chose this shop I chose T2 Tea because it is not just a place where you buy tea — it’s a sensory experience . The store in the Queen Victoria Building has been completely redesigned to include a tasting area where visitors can smell and try different tea blends. The brand describes this space as a “reimagined” concept, with a focus on atmosphere and customer interaction. Another reason I picked this shop is its beautiful Teawares Gallery , where you can find artistic teapots and cups inspired by cultures and designs from around the world. This makes the shop visually impressive and perfect for unique gifts. What you can buy in T2 Tea Visitors can buy a wide var...

My steps through Sydney This blog will be my personal space to explore and reflect on our class project about the city of Sydney. Throughout the process, I will explore some of the city’s most iconic locations and reflect on what I learn about its culture, atmosphere and identity. My intention is not only to gather information, but also to express my impressions and how my understanding develops along the way. I´m going to be visiting Sydney soon, and the first place I will be going to will be the Sydney Opera House. I will be admiring its unique architecture and the view over the harbour, which has always impressed me in photos. I will also be going to Bondi Beach, where I will be enjoying the atmosphere and the coastline. I will be exploring other famous places too, such as the Harbour Bridge and the Royal Botanic Garden. I haven’t been to Australia before, but I know someone who has visited Sydney and they told me it is a multicultural and lively city. So I will be experiencing a c...
